Opis
The tree’s treetop is wide, rounded and oval-pyramidal in shape. The leaves are heart-shaped but smaller and almost hairless on the lower surface compared to the linden. The flowers are small, yellow-green and clustered, usually opening in July, about two weeks later than the linden. Linden is a honey-bearing plant whose fruits are dry nuts. Autumn leaves change color to yellow.
